There's never a fin to swim season if your little fishes want to join the MAKO Swim Team, where aspiring swimmers can train and work to improve their technique with a one-month membership for $29 (regularly $110). Youngsters are grouped by age at this Hobart facility, so kids ages 5 to 10 years old, 11 to 14 years old, and 14 years and older will be practicing side by side. Ranked as one of the top five clubs in Northwest Indiana by USA Swimming's Virtual Club Championship for its 2010-2011 season, MAKO and its coaches are on-site at all times to teach the basics and help more experienced athletes.
