Adapted from the popular children's book of the same name, this spoof on the tale of the three little pigs (each with their own individual sense of home construction style) who were pursued by a ravenous wolf, aims to show a different side of the familiar story. In the biggest trial to hit Piggsylvania in quite some time, the Big Bad Wolf is trying to clear his name. Claiming to have been a victim of circumstance -- namely a particularly sneezy cold that caused him to inadvertently blow down some shabbily constructed homes while trying to borrow a cup of sugar -- it's up to you and your little ones to decide whether the Big Bad Wolf is as innocent as he claims to be in this fun, family-friendly musical.
Striding Lion Performance Group's immersive dance theatre offers a multi-sensory feast that collides live performance and new media with inventive use of space. Your child can stride into this innovative experience at their 2013 "Long Lion Days" summer camps, where they will spend two weeks immersed in dancing, storytelling, singing, and performing with skill and imagination. Led by Striding Lion's Artistic Director, campers will be creators and performers all at once as they explore the themes of the summer season through songwriting, theatre games, storytelling, and dance. Three two-week-long, half-day sessions are available, for 4 to 7 year olds or 8 to 10 year olds. The end product will be an in-progress, all-original production performed for parents and friends, who will be ROARing with applause!
