REVIEWSChristi G. on Yelp:I fell in love with tortas when I visited Mexico City several years back. Tortas El Angel brings me back to Mexico every time I eat there. The tortas are awesomely delicious! The bread is perfectly soft and crunchy at the same time and I've found that all of the meats and fish they use are marinaded and cooked well. They'll make the torta however you want, but getting it with everything on them (i.e.: beans, jalapenos, onions, avocado, etc.) really completes the package. I've tried 5 or 6 of the different tortas along with quesadillas. It's clean on the inside and everyone who works there has always been super nice and responsive. The salsas are yummy, but beware of the red one—it's got a kick. Also, "Gigante" is really big—"gigante" would be good for two people.
