Camp Quality is a non-profit, volunteer organization that, in addition to our signature week-long camping experience, provides year-round support for children with cancer (receiving treatment or in remission) and their families. Our program provides children with the opportunity to try both new and familiar activities, make new friends and gain memories that will last forever!“Lifting the spirits of children with cancer." Camp Quality is more than a camp. It's a non-profit, volunteer organization which provides a year-round support program for children with cancer and their families.Each of our seven camps across Canada and our year-round programs are volunteer-run, community-funded and are available at absolutely no cost. Our year-round program includes family weekends, reunions and fun days for the whole family. Our signature week-long camping program provides a wonderfully unique opportunity for children with cancer to put their illness behind them and concentrate on having fun! Each camper is matched with a trained adult volunteer and medical staff is on-site.Established in 1988, our programs provide children with the opportunity to try new and old activities and to make new friends and memories that will last forever!Camp Quality also encompasses a Puppet Program where life-size puppets visit nearly 17,000 children each year in local area schools to encourage sensitivity about cancer and its effects.
