Hurricane Steak & Sushi Coupons and Deals
Delectable Polynesian cuisine and Vegas-style flair are tempered with an NYC edge at this Park Ave South destination for good times. The #77 cocktail (spiced rum, coconut, cardamom, and passion fruit) comes served in a fresh coconut shipped in from Hawaii; the Hurricane Mai Tai’s tropical flavors—mellowed out by house-made orgeat syrup and served in a tiki god–shaped glass with fresh fruit—is artistic, exotic, and refreshing. The Imperial platter features three items unavailable a la carte (tamarind deviled eggs, Vietnamese-style vegetarian spring rolls, and tuna tartare in crispy wonton cones, all of which are heavenly bites) and three menu staples, including coconut shrimp coated in crispy taro that’s so good you’ll want another order. The addition of expertly crafted sushi rolls to the menu also gives a wide selection of new appetizer options to enjoy-we suggest the rock shrimp roll. Chili lobster is worth an order; when you unhinge a chunk of juicy crustacean flesh from its shell and add some long beans, scallions, taro, and fruity-fiery chili sauce together in one bite, you’ll experience pure peppery perfection. The steaks (and sauces) are also phenomenal and by no means an afterthought.
