For $90, you and a friend will get a spot in either a coffee-roasting and -tasting tour (a $200 value) or a tea-tasting class (a $200 value). Classes are held on Sundays in January, February, and March; coffee classes run from 10 a.m. to noon, while tea classes last from 1 to 3 p.m. In the coffee class, you'll learn about the roasting process and the basics of flavor evaluation. Along the way, you'll explore different tastes, coffee quality, and learn how to brew better coffee at home. In the tea tasting, your instructor will talk about what tea is and how it's made.
