But you've grown up (and made your apologies) so its time to get back in the (mud) ring. Reintroduce yourself to muck and sludge at the Heroes Mud Run on September 8, 2012 for an action-packed, obstacle-course-filled day of fun. Why You'll Love It: When's the last time you truly got dirty? That won't be an issue at this big, bad, fun mud run has the largest and muddiest slip and slide in the country. After climbing, crawling, running and jumping through 3.1 miles and 15 obstacles, you and your equally muddy teammates will cross the finish line in dirty, dripping style to celebrate with food and drink, a DJ, and beer (and wine) garden fun. What To Know: After the starting gun goes off, your team will slog through challenging obstacles like the “muddy scramble”, “children of the corn maze”, and “wall of no fear”.
