If ding-dong ditch is your idea of Halloween fun, it's time to reconsider your social calendar. This year, you and a freakish friend can run for your lives in the Halloween Hustle 5k Fun Run. This eerie race sets out from the Hudson Gardens, continues onto the Platte River path, and finishes back at Hudson Gardens...your final resting place. After the race, little boys and ghouls can trick-or-treat, have their faces painted, and play in a bounce house, and kids of all ages can enjoy refreshments and live music from Retro. Don't forget to participate in the costume contest (here's a hint: "runner" probably won't be a winner), and do make sure to take home a tech t-shirt to commemorate your day of frightening fun. Admit it, the Halloween Hustle sounds better than your usual Halloween plans - gorging yourself on fun-size packs of peanut M&Ms - so go out there and have yourself a spook-tacular time.
