A hit off-Broadway and internationally, "Menopause The Musical" comes to Gwinett Center. This funny and inspiring musical parody show that finds the humor in a woman's "change of life" is set to classic tunes from the '60s, '70s and '80s, and sports an all-female cast. The action takes place in a department store, where four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black lace bra meet by chance at a lingerie sale. They make fun of their woeful hot flashes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and chocolate binges. A sisterhood is created among these diverse women as they realize that menopause is a shared experience and need not be suffered in silence.
