One experience can be redeemed per person, multiple may be purchased as gifts. Expires nine months from date of purchase. Reservations required, subject to availability. Ages 12 and up are eligible for the Taste of Fencing class; ages 8 and up may take the four-session fencing class. Participants should dress for athletic activity - sneakers or tennis shoes, gym shorts or sweat pants, and t-shirt. Available most Saturdays and Sundays: 1pm - 4pm by reservation. Four week package meets weekly: Saturdays during the day, Monday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings.

For lovers of the Game of Thrones, and those just curious about the art of swordplay, comes a class designed to have you striking, defending and scoring in a beginner's fencing session. At Gryphon Studio, get a taste of this elegant sport where fancy footwork and strategy blend in a whipfast, adrenaline inducing game of foils. Start with fencing's origin and learn about the history and the rules of modern sports fencing. Then put that new knowledge into play, practicing key basic movements, attacks and defenses. Keep a steady eye on that classmate of yours and anticipate his every move, because at the end of class, you'll have the chance to engage in an honorable "duel" using the Olympic style electronic scoring gear, all in the name of protecting Winterfell.
