Greenwich House Pottery—affectionately known as The Pottery—has brought the joys of ceramics to a supportive, artistic community for more than 100 years. Part of Greenwich House, a non-profit providing thousands of New Yorkers with enrichment and cultural experiences, the studio welcomes first-time Greenwich House Pottery students to a special workshop that introduces the basics of handbuilding and glazing techniques. In two hours, you’ll complete your piece with inspiration by your side: all necessary materials, a talented artisan instructor, and your creative juices, both literally and figuratively—the introductory workshop is BYOB.
