grace 1720 Coupons and Deals
Description
While grace might be a big part of a restaurant's success, we'd be remiss if we didn't acknowledge that there's quite a bit of skill involved, too. Luckily for grace 1720, it seems to possess both (and a few awards to boot). Chef/owner Barbara DiJames was inspired by the lack of quality dining in the 'burbs, so she did what any self-respecting chef would: she set out to create a mouthwatering menu full of ingredient-driven, creative dishes in a handsomely decorated, Napa Valley-inspired dining room, and, well? Mission accomplished. While we were there, we sampled a couple of grace's show-stopping sides, including the grits and collard greens. Fresh, and expertly presented, we'd go so far as to deem those grits heavenly (how does she make them so fluffy?) and the collards? Well, how could we not enjoy those. They're made slightly sweet, and cooked right along with carrots and bacon. (See Mom? We just needed some bacon to go along with those veggies.) For dinner, we recommend heading out to the lush patio. It's as gorgeous as the interior, and truly feels like an escape, especially if you add the hand-crafted Basil Berry cocktail from the expert bartender up front to the mix. Menu Highlights: Grand Marnier Glazed Pan-Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops, $26 Pan-Roasted Organic Chicken Breast, $24 Grilled Berkshire Pork Chop, $26 Grilled 8 oz. Saratoga Steak (Eye of the Ribeye), $34 Hours: LUNCH Monday – Sunday, 11:30 a.m DINNER Monday – Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
