Anne Perry, the Edgar Award-winning British author of four separate best-selling series, discusses combining history, mystery and current issues with San Francisco's own noir novelist William C. Gordon. Perry kicked off her prolific career in 1979 with "The Cater Street Hangman", introducing her Victorian-era police inspector hero Thomas Pitt. That series is still going strong, with "Midnight at Marble March" released in 2013. Now based in Scotland, Perry also continues her earlier Victorian William Monk mysteries, including 2013's "Blind Justice", as well as popular World War I and Christmas series. Somehow, she's even found time to create a trio of related Young Adult titles. Litquake teams with the Northern California chapter of the Mystery Writers of America for this special event.
