Why You Should Run: Trained runners are known to boast shapely legs, look good in fluorescents, and have the most success catching summer fireflies. Stylize yourself in sneaks in preparation for the 4th Annual Uptown Rhodes Race 5K, hosted by The Georgia Trust. What You Should Train For: This family friendly 3.1 mile race will have you jogging through the historic Ansley Park and Sherwood Forest, checking out the sites and scenery of the beautiful neighborhood. The full course is stroller and dog friend (leashes are needed for dogs, but not strollers) and even boasts pet and human pit stops for refreshments. What You Should Know: Following the race, runners can stick around for post-run events, like delish bites and sips from local vendors, live entertainment, and a muscle-relaxing stretch clinic. Awards are bestowed to the top 3 overall male and female contestants, as well as top 3 in each male and female age bracket, top runner with a stroller, and top runner with a dog.
