Fontanel Mansion is decked out for the holidays, and Travelzoo subscribers can experience the season at this 27,000-square-foot edifice for nearly half off. For $39, regularly $76, receive a tour of the mansion and a ticket to see the Unwrap the Songs of Christmas dinner show. Purchase more tickets for greater savings; buy two tickets for $75 (regularly $152) or four tickets for $149 (regularly $304). The show features the talent of two top Nashville songwriters: Will Robinson, who has eight No. 1 songs to his name including hits for Alabama; and James Dan Hicks, who has seven No. 1 songs and earns his nickname, The Human Jukebox, during the show by fielding requests. Dinner includes braised Italian beef and grilled salmon, salad, vegetables, bread, dessert and soft drinks. Shows are held daily through Dec. 23. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner starts at 6:00 followed by the show at 7:00. Mansion tours are held between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and can be redeemed at a later date. Travelzoo has also negotiated deals on mansion tours only. For $25, receive a mansion tour for two people (regularly $44) or for $49, receive a mansion tour for four people (regularly $88). Add lunch to your mansion tour; for $35, two people receive tours of the mansion and $25 to spend on lunch at Cafe Fontanella. For $69, four people receive a mansion tour and $50 to spend on lunch. The mansion is offering tours for $11. That’s $10 off the retail value of $22. Barbara Mandrell and her husband Ken Dubney built Fontanel in 1987. The mansion offers tours at the top of every hour from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. They are fully guided and last for about an hour and 15 minutes. The mansion’s history includes guests like Dick Clark, Minnie Pearl, Eunice and Sargent Shriver, Bob Hope and Oprah Winfrey.
