The Caribbean Sounds Race is a themed racing event inspired by the islands of its namesake. The race supports sarcoidosis research, a disease where inflammatory cells form nodules that can lead to lung scarring and infection.The event is accompanied by beautiful island music and themed mile markers, prizes and incentives for winners of all ages, and a scenic route to enjoy while you raise money and awareness. It involves getting out in the sun with friends and family, and dressing in your best Caribbean inspired attire to participate in an invigorating run/walk to support a worthy cause.The race kicks off from Colorado Avenue in NW, and offers 5k and 10k routes to run.
