Hone this talent for your class clown with super fun, highly-entertaining classes at Finest City Improv. The 4-week session (2 hours each class) begins on December 1st and is designed specifically for kids ages 9 to 17. Your kids will play lots of cool games that open them up to supporting and trusting others and themselves, while also making everyone laugh. br / br / At Finest City Improv, students are first taught to create engaging comedic scenes using seven fundamentals: support amp; trust, energy amp; spontaneity (have fun!), concentration, honesty amp; sincerity (truth is funny), listening amp; responding with emotion, agreement amp; heightening, and playing action. All classes are based on the philosophy that finding connections in the scene and between characters is more important than making jokes. br / br / Instructor Chris George is vital link in the San Diego improv scene. He has been improvising since 2003 and has studied in Chicago, LA, and San Diego. He currently performs with Mike amp; Chris and Seersucker in San Diego. He creates a weekly improv podcast ldquo;As Inkrdquo; on iTunes and writes an improv blog called Riding on the Wall. He was a member of two Stage Monkey troupes. He founded the San Diego Stage Monkeys and has directed them since 2008. He was a member of the NCT Sunday Company for many years./span
