Not ready to jump into the extensive open water certification? Get your feet wet with a PADI scuba diver certification course from Exotic Aquatics Scuba & Kayaking. You'll spend less time in class than with open water certification, and you can apply the things you learn if you decide to continue your training. Never a fan of timed tests? Complete the academic portion of the course at your own pace at home, then head to the pool for a series of confined dives for your first foray into the wonder of breathing under water. You'll finish the course with open water dives from the shore that will offer you a whole new perspective on what's beneath the water's edge. Once certified, you can rent equipment and head out on guided dives to a depth of 40 feet, which is plenty of room for you to make some new fine finned friends. Whether you want to ease into it or dive in head first, we're sure that once you try scuba you'll wonder why you ever stayed on dry land.
