Luckily, the process is deceptively simple: using a special dough Raul created himself, the duo stuffs the empanadas with one of a host of housemade fillings and then fries them to order. But with simple technique comes complex flavors. The Criolla Empanada, the most traditional selection on the menu, is a savory blend of beef, onion, olives, raisins, and egg and it works.
