But with simple technique comes complex flavors. The Criolla Empanada, the most traditional selection on the menu, is a savory blend of beef, onion, olives, raisins, and egg and it works. Similarly successful, especially if your tastes lean a little closer to home, is the Texas Brisket Empanada—it'd make any cowboy proud.
