Miami is better known for drop-tops than pop-ups, but the new temporary restaurant from celebrity chef Elizabeth Falkner is sure to turn a few heads. For $90, you'll enjoy an intimate prix fixe dinner with wine pairings from the Next Iron Chef and Top Chef Masters star, who'll be in the kitchen for one exclusive weekend at the beautiful new Miami Culinary Institute on August 23, 24, and 25. The three-course meal, drawing heavily from the menu of Falkner's much-anticipated Brooklyn outpost, Krescendo, will feature Southern Italian fare served family-style with hand-selected wine pairings. Additionally, guests will enjoy an hour of custom cocktails (courtesy of master mixologist Darren Crawford) and traditional Italian apertivi beforehand. For an even more interactive experience, pay $130 and you'll also be one of a few select guests to sit in on a live cooking demonstration from Falkner herself in the Institute's state-of-the-art culinary theater, along with an additional glass of sparkling wine or champagne and a signed pre-release copy of the chef's latest cookbook, "Cooking Off The Clock."
