Each introductory scuba class includes a one-hour session with a certified scuba instructor in a pool, where you’ll use and learn about all the essential scuba gear.But before you hop in the water, you’ll go through a crash course on all the gear to get a basic understanding of your equipment. Then, under the supervision of your instructor -- one of several active divers who continually log student contact and diving hours in diverse conditions every year -- you’ll hop into the pool to give your gear a go.You’ll leave with a full understanding of scuba and know whether or not this is something you may want to pursue further. Classes are available for anyone over the age of 8 with a clear medical history.
