Under new ownership since 2006, DLC’s mission is to give students opportunities to learn and improve drama skills while they work as part of a theatrical team. Through classes, private instruction, camps, and musical theatre productions, DLC students are able to further nurture an interest in the performing arts. $175 for Tiny Tarzan Beginning Acting Class for Kindergarten - 2nd Graders ($75 Off - Regular Cost is $250) What happened before Jane arrived? Beginning acting class students will have fun exploring the jungle with Tarzan as he meets and is adopted by the gorillas. Class Days/Times: Thursdays from 5 - 7pm starting March 21st - April 25th (No class April 4th) Dress Rehearsals: May 1st and 2nd from 5 - 7 pm Performances: May 4th at 1:00 pm & May 5th at 11:00 am OR Fridays from 5 - 7pm starting on March 22nd - May 3rd (No class March 29th or April 5th) Dress Rehearsals: May 8th & 9th from 5 - 7 pm Performances: May 11th at 1:00 pm & May 12th at 11:00 am $210 for Tarzan Musical Theatre Class for 3rd - 12th Graders ($140 Off - Regular Cost is $350) Based on Edgar Rice Burrough's Tarzan of the Apes and the smash-hit 1999 Disney animated film, TARZAN tells the story of an infant boy orphaned on the shores of West Africa. Taken in and raised by a tribe of gorillas, the young boy strives for acceptance while grappling with his uniqueness. When a human expedition enters their territory, Tarzan - now a man - encounters strangers like himself for the first time. TARZAN features music and lyrics by pop icon Phil Collins, including the Grammy and Oscar winning song, "You'll Be in My Heart", and book by Tony Award-winning playwright, David Henry Hwang. Choose one of the following Class Days/Times for 3rd thru 8th Graders: Tuesdays from 5:00-7:00 pm starting on March 12th thru May 7th (No class on April 2nd) Dress Rehearsals will be on May 13th - 17th from 5:00-8:30 pm Performances will be on Saturday, May 18th at 7:00 pm & Sunday, May 19th at 3:00 pm OR Wednesdays from 5:00-7:00 pm starting March 20th through May 1 (No class April 3rd. Additional class Tuesday, April 9th.) Dress Rehearsals will be on May 6th - 10th from 5:00-8:30pm Performances will be on Saturday, May 11th at 7:00 pm & Sunday, May 12th at 3:00 pm OR Fridays from 5:00-7:00 pm starting March 22nd through May 24th (No class March 2th9 or April 5th. Additional classes on March 28th & April 11th) Dress Rehearsals will be on May 28th - 31st from 5:00-8:30 pm Performances will be on Saturday, June 1st at 7:00 pm & Sunday, June 2nd at 3:00 pm
