Colorado has a rich history of folks heading for the hills to seek their fortunes, but untold treasures await on the plains with today's deal from Downslope Distilling: Pay $82 for a distillery tour, five 750-milliliter bottles of liquor, and one cocktail in the on-site tasting room between October 15 and 24 (a $165 value). Mitch Abate and Andy Causey operate this Centennial distillery, and they delight in producing delicious small-batch spirits that utilize local ingredients. Upon arriving at 6:30 p.m., you'll tour the distillery and see firsthand what goes into producing your favorite firewaters before enjoying a specially crafted cocktail in the tasting room.
