Thursday, August 15th marks the return of the Denver Film Society RAISE THE ROOF series, a FREE event on the rooftop of the SIE Film Center that features live music, comedy, local food and drinks, and the best views of downtown and the Rocky Mountains you’ll find in the city. The music was chosen with help from Colorado Public Radio’s “OpenAir” station, which is known for featuring the latest and the greatest, from local indie rock to legends like Bowie. Located in the same complex as Tattered Cover and Twist & Shout, this is the perfect opportunity to celebrate National Small Business Week. Support local food and drink vendors from the Colfax corridor as they provide all you need to stave off hunger and thirst while you laugh with outrageously hilarious comedian Jordan Doll and jam out to Denver bands Shady Elders and Ark Life. Doors open at 6pm and music kicks off at 7pm, so get to the SIE Film Center early, enjoy the view, and prepare yourself for the best Thursday you’ve had in months.
