The Fine Print
Must be 5 years of age or older. Helmet rental is included, proper footwear is required. Shoes or boots with a flat sole and heel must be worn. Paddock boots, cowboy boots are allowed. Tennis shoes, rubber soled boots or hiking boots are not permitted. Boots may also be rented at the barn for an additional $5.

In this 90-minute introductory horsemanship course for two, you and a friend will learn the basics of interacting with and caring for your steed. You'll get a grip on grooming, handling of equipment and tack, horse psychology and master the art of mounting. Once your time in the barn is done, you'll head out for a 10 to 15 minute ride to put the lesson into practice.
