Cracker Barrel Coupons 2014

Dan Evins opened the first Cracker Barrel Country Store in Lebanon, Tennessee in 1967. The old country store offed a selection of gifts, gasoline and homemade meals. By 1977, with the help of several investors, there were 13 Cracker Barrels in the Southern United States. The chain stopped selling gas in the ‘70s, but continued to grow, and became a publicly-traded company in 1981.

By 1996, there were 257 locations across the country; that number has since more than doubled to over 600 locations. Cracker Barrel does not offer franchises; all of its Country Stores are privately owned.
