"A thing of beauty is a joy forever" - or so says John Keats. Find out for yourself with a glass workshop from Corradetti Glass Studio, where you can craft a piece that will forever bring you joy. With a friend by your side, learn the methods of working with molten glass: shaping the silica, swirling shades, and finally crafting an item of your own design. The sessions are hands-on, sleeves-rolled up classes that deliver one-on-one personal attention from the professional instructor. And, as if playing with molten glass weren't enough of a draw, opt for a session that includes wine and cheese to help get the creative juices flowing. Regardless of which workshop you choose, walk away with a truly unique item...and the joy of knowing you made it with your own two hands.
RAISE A GLASS Anthony Corradetti isn't obsessed, we swear. OK, well, maybe a little. After all, he's been blowing some of the most stunning pieces of glassware in the Baltimore area for over 30 years. Each piece (his most prized are large, hand-painted vessels) is hand-blown by Corradetti, so no two are ever alike. You'll leave with a customized conversation piece sure to brighten the decor in any room. Your new art will leave you blown away. TRIVIA Corradetti was first introduced to glass-blowing at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. Corradetti's work is on display in many museums worldwide. The pieces Corradetti has created have won over 15 awards. Corradetti Glass has been independently owned and operated for over 30 years.
