Built post-earthquake in 1907, this building has been an old-timey post office, produce store, confectionary and ice cream parlor before becoming the restaurant it is today. Just take a look at the ceiling and you'll notice the unusual architecture that pays homage to the building's historic roots. But don't look up for too long, lest you miss what's on your plate. With a white tablecloth and giant pepper grinder vibe that promises culinary expertise, Clement Street's menu doesn't disappoint. Filled with everything from burgers and steak sandwiches to seafood, fresh pasta and steak, this spot has what it takes to hit the spot, whether you're in for a casual bite and a beer, or a more high-tone dining experience.
