Scout Notes:If department store commercials have taught us anything, it's that we shouldn't settle for outfittery that can't handle that pesky transition from office to night-out. (That, and that really happy people dance around in their new clothes.) Which is why we're particularly psyched about Chicago Pizza and Sports Grille in Kennesaw. Because, why shouldn't our nights-out transition too? True, Atlanta boasts some stellar dining joints, and some nifty (and a few divey) bars โ€“ but we needed something more. Namely, a joint that could withstand the harrowing dinner to bar transition. Also, pizza. Also, every sports channel imaginable. (Their motto is "all of the games, all of the time", after all.) And because they have (smoking) bar and (nonsmoking) dining areas that are actually separate, it's easy for anyone to find their perfect 'za zone. The family-owned Chicago Pizza and Sports Grille was founded by windy city natives โ€“ ones who know how pizza's done up right. (Deep dish, sauce on top, if you're wondering.) This is the real deal, kids. But they also offer thin crust varieties for the more conventional among us. The White Pizza, for example, is coated-to-perfection with real alfredo (some other, less authentic, places try to use ranch sauce), and topped with a sprinkling feta, for good measure. When you pop in for some pizza-pie, you can be sure that you'll get some of the highest quality, cooked-to-order 'za this side of Chi-town too. Whether you're dining-room or bar-side, the place is very spacious, so you can watch The Game (playing on one of the 120 TVs), without feeling cramped or self-conscious. Translation: eat pizza, drink beer, watch sports โ€“ it's alright if you get excited. Menu Highlights: Small BBQ Chicken Pizza, 19.99 Small Buffalo Chicken Pizza, 19.99 Small Pesto Pizza, 19.99 Thin Small White Pizza, 19.99 Calzones (with 2 stuffings), 7.99 Hours: 7 days a week, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
