Why You Should Go: Everyone’s heard of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, but the world is slightly less familiar with the legend of Cedar Hollow. Constructed in the mid 1800’s, the Cedar Hollow Inn has a long-standing reputation of serving up gourmet cuisine in rustic dining rooms with craft beer matchings and live music pairings. What You Should Taste: Sample the taste of summer with fresh offerings like the Lobster Spring Roll with Wasabi and Roasted Red Pepper Sauce, Grilled Shrimp and Scallop Skewer with Wild Rice and Squash Orange Soy Dipping Sauce, and the Wild Mushroom Quesadilla. We also love staples like Burgers, Spinach & Artichoke Dip, and Braised Short Ribs with Potato Au Gratin and Broccoli Rabe. What You Should Know: The 3-dining room eatery resides in a restored mid 1800’s building, with a large bar area and an enclosed sun porch for diners. The Culinary Institute of America-trained executive chef Stephen Guiseppe creates daily specials featuring comfort food and high end culinary concoctions, along with American Continental staples. Your experience will be nothing but legendary.
The Cedar Hollow Inn was part of the tiny Cedar Hollow village where it has stood for more than 100 years. The "bones" of the old building remain the same, with three comfortable dining rooms including an enclosed sun porch plus a large bar area. The décor is fresh with polished hardwood floors and artwork from local artists adorning the walls. The menu reflects the energy and creativity of the youthful kitchen staff headed by CIA trained chef Steve Guiseppe. Our cuisine is classified as Continental American. We serve generous portions and nobody ever leaves hungry. The Cedar Hollow Inn is able to accommodate banquets of up to 50 people and is a popular location for many private occasions from bridal showers to corporate dinners.
