Argos Productions stages the New England premiere of "The Seabirds". A lighthouse keeper for the Union Army rescues a Confederate soldier from the rocks below, leading to a crisis of faith and morality for both men, and ultimately to an affecting and unexpected finale. David Lutheran and Brendan Mulhern star in this two-person work from award-winning novelist and playwright William Orem, currently the writer-in-residence at Emerson College. Directed by experienced local artist Jeremy Johnson ("Speech & Debate", "The Temperamentals"), the production is part of Argos' second season devoted exclusively to new works.
