Go figure -- the blues bring out the best in Sac-Town: Drop $30 for one ticket to the Blues for Life benefit concert -- plus two additional tickets to any future show at The Torch Club and a commemorative poster created by locally known artist Nancy Lee Anderson (a $65 value). Serving as a fundraiser for Albie Aware, a breast cancer awareness foundation, this sixth annual live music fest features 12 bands performing all genres of jams on the historic stage at the downtown club and on a second stage in the parking lot on I Street; ten restaurants dishing up pasta tastings; a silent action; and a plethora of info in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
