It's the 35th Annual John Coltrane Memorial Concert at Blackman Theatre at Northeastern University. This year's show features Grammy-Award winning master drummer, composer, arranger, record producer and entrepreneur Terri Lyne Carrington, and honors master saxophonist and educator Andy McGhee and producer and radio personality Steve Schwartz. WGBH's Eric Jackson hosts the show, which will see this year's John Coltrane Memorial Ensemble perform a repertoire of all-Coltrane compositions, including "Moment's Notice," "Central Park West," "Impressions," "After the Rain," "The Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost" and a 'Trane blues medley. In what has become a JCMC tradition, the Ensemble will close with "Peace on Earth."
