If you are a local, then you know that Better Families is one of the most established programs in our area, teaching kids the positive discipline of Martial Arts, while helping them to develop self confidence. Their summer program teaches these disciplines via different themes such as How to Become a Quality Champion and How to Become a Team Player. It also includes other fun activities such as Arts and Crafts and a field trip for an additional $10. The program is for boys and girls, of all levels, ages 5-18. Adult to child ratio is 1:6. Camp runs weekly from June 11- August 13, Monday through Friday. Drop off starts at 8:30am and camp begins at 9:30am. Pick up is from 2:00pm- 3:00pm. Aftercare as available until 6:00pm, at $4 per hour. No lunch or snack is included but a menu will be available to purchase a healthy meal for $5. Mandatory camp t-shirt is $16. It is centrally located in the shopping center near the corner of Red Road and Bird Road. Better Families Through Tae Kwon Do is a family owned business that has been serving children in our area for23 years.
