Ben & Jerry’s Coupons 2014

Ben & Jerry’s started in the 70s, when childhood friends Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, each unsure where their lives were going, decided to take a $5 Penn State correspondence course on ice cream making and put their savings into opening the first Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream stand in an old gas station in Burlington, Vermont in 1978. They churned their own ice cream, creating flavors no one had seen before as they added candies, cookies, fruits and nuts to the mix. They started supplying their ice cream to local restaurants, and, by the mid-80s, Ben & Jerry’s was a household name, available by the pint in grocery stores.

Although Ben and Jerry no longer create the flavors, the Ben & Jerry’s company is a worldwide success, with pints sold in stores around the globe and Scoop Shops nationwide.
