Around here, it's just too hot to don a sweaty leather mitt to play a ball game. Set your child up to enjoy Southern California's favorite pastime with today's deal from Beach Cities Volleyball Club: Pay $199 for one week of full-day volleyball camp for ages 7 to 18 on August 6 to 10 (regularly $400). Campers are placed in groups according to age and skill during the Monday to Friday camp. Under the instruction of experienced players and coaches, they'll participate in fun drills and games that build technique in both beginners and players from club or school teams.
