Since March, BBQ Beach has brought the tropical vacation to us right here off 21st Avenue. With a patio that can only be described as a local beach bar (sans the whole water and sand bit) and a drink list with libations such as Pirate Punch, Island Sweet Tea, and the Mango Escape, it's easy to forget where you are, which is exactly the goal of manager Andy Tucker who explains, “We wanted to create a place that is laid back, fun, and literally makes you feel like the ocean is right beyond the bar." Oh, and did we mention that their chef won 2nd place in the Music City Festival and BBQ Competition this summer? This won't be hard to believe after diving into the Pulled Pork or Brisket Sandwich that are all smoked right out back.
