Bay Area Discovery Museum is what a museum would look like if 8-year olds were allowed to design it. Each of their six unique exhibits incorporate five things: Exploration, Discovery, Immersion, Imagination and Connection. The architect-designed Imagination Playground allows your children to explore giant foam blocks, fabric, slides, noodles and balls through unstructured play. At Bay Hall, kids interact with scale versions of Bay Area ports, where they can load containers onto their ship in Oakland or explore the wildlife under Fisherman’s Wharf. Then Lookout Cove allows kids to explore 2.5 acres of fun and imagination with life-size boats, trails and caves for exploring.Teaching your kids a thing or two while wearing them out always makes for a peaceful evening.
