We know—being the last dance partner picked at your middle-school social still burns. Time to get even with Brian from 8th grade and his wicked Running Man skills. We're offering a four-week Latin and ballroom dancing course or a salsa course for $17 (reg. $54). Grab an eight-week course for $29 (reg. $108) at Ballroom Dance Academy. Take your pick: The Latin and ballroom lessons cover saucy two-steps like the rumba, cha-cha, East Coast swing, and bolero, plus ballroom classics like the fox-trot, waltz, and tango. Salsa is a sexy combo of merengue and cha-cha, done to a fusion of Cuban music and African drumbeats. Both courses teach you the fundamentals of leading and following, simple steps and turns, and basic partner work. The 45-minute classes are held weekly and get progressively more advanced as you go along. Owners Michael Kuka and Natalia Lind have been performing together since 2004 and know all about fancy footwork.
