Playing small? Not an option during ski season. Ski outside the lines on a full-day backcountry ski lesson and tour, where you’ll learn the basic techniques of skiing or snowboarding uncharted territory and shred tracks in newly-fallen powder. You and a small group of explorers will experience what skiing was like in the days before ski lifts and gondolas - when the sport was all about being one with steep cliffs and fresh powder bowls. You'll be in good hands with expert guide Matt, a certified Ski-Mountaineering Guide who has a background in alpine and has traveled the globe's wild, snowy backcountry terrain. You must be an intermediate to advanced skier or snowboarder to participate, so come prepared to work hard to earn your turns. We're betting after you experience skiing in the backcountry, you’ll never want to wait in a lift line again.
