Argentine Tango is a dance of heightened awareness, connection and communication. It’s applied physics, technique, moving art, a yoga, sensuous, passionate, elegant. The music is often fiery, dramatic and meditative in the same dance, and very melodic. Once leader/follower moves are learned, there is no end to their recombination in the moment, according to the music, partner, and space. The results of these learning efforts are awesome! Houston and most major cities have tango communities and it’s quite rewarding to dance well with many partners. Learn to dance the Argentine tango with Buenos Aires-trained instructors at Art, Wine & Tango! You don't need any prior experience or a partner. Your instructors, Susan and Mykol are seasoned dancers with over 15 years combined of training and dancing the Argentine Tango, and they're eager to bring the joy of tango to the Northwest Houston area!

Learn from a 15-year tango veteran with this deal: • $39 ($120 value) for six Argentine Tango classes and two Milongas dance socials • The Milongas are held after your fifth and sixth lessons to show off what you've learned • Tango couple, Mykol and Susan, are seasoned dancers -- Susan studied in Buenos Aires • Just wear non-rubber-soled shoes and enjoy -- no partner is required • These beginner classes are held 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. two days a week • Two class times are offered each week -- pick the day that works for you and attend on that day for the six classes
