Maybe your dog can't sit, speak, or roll over on command, but we're willing to bet she can strut like no other pup. Let her show off her fluff with today's deal for admission to the Animal Friends' Mutt Strut at South Park Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 3, with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. Pay $12 to register (a $25 value), and you and your pup can take the 1.5-mile walk led by Cris Winter of Today's WISH 99.7 and Greg Joseph of Pittsburgh's own The Clarks. There may not be a blue ribbon, but you'll get a goodie bag to share, a T-shirt, and entrance to the dog activity center and vendor fair. Since it's presented by the VCA Animal Hospital, there will also be information about spay and neuter services and training available for pets and pet owners. Rain or shine, all non-aggressive dogs with proper ID tags and vaccinations are welcome -- and since the event ends at noon, you've got plenty of time left in the day to reinforce all the commands she just learned.
