This nonprofit art center has provided expert instruction to third- through 12th-graders for more than seven years. Let your child participate in an exciting camp that runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays with this deal: • $100 ($200 value) for one week of Advanced Comic Book summer camp • $200 ($400 value) for one week of Game Design or Animation summer camp • Sessions start the week of June 3, with the last one beginning July 22 The Advanced Comic Book camp teaches participants basic design techniques, as well as the ins and outs of creating a comic book. Workshops cover storytelling and character development, comic book history, life drawing, and more. The Game Design or Animation camp teaches students to construct two- or three-dimensional games from scratch.
