• How Do I Get My Deals on Yipit?

  To list your deals with us, please first submit your daily deal site.

  Our content team must approve your site before we can list your deals on Yipit. Upon submitting your information, you’ll receive an email with our decision within one business day.

  If your site is approved, your deals will be live on Yipit within 48 hours.

  If your site is not approved, please consult our content criteria and standards to better understand our reasoning.

• How Does Yipit Add Deals?

  Yipit’s content team scours the internet every morning from 12:00am to 9:00am CST to add and update daily deals from each of our 2193 partner sites. Our content team continues to add and update deals throughout the day, ensuring that sale counts are accurate, late-publishing deals are added, and sold-out deals are reflected accurately.

  Yipit accepts feeds from all daily deal sites, and encourages daily deal sites to provide such feeds to ensure speed and accuracy of its listings. Yipit also indexes publicly available pages on the web that contain daily deals.

• What Does It Cost?

  We partner with all daily deal sites on a revenue share basis. Once your deals are live on Yipit, a member of our Account Management team will be in touch to discuss uploading you r site into our affiliate program.

• How Do I Feature My Deal In Your Email?

  Daily deals are placed in Yipit emails by our algorithm’s calculation of a user’s individual preferences and past behavior on our site. Individual deals, businesses, merchants, deal sites, or deal categories are never “featured” or “sponsored” in Yipit emails.

• How Do I Submit My Deal Feed or API?

  Yipit accepts RSS, JSON, and XML feeds for local daily deal sites. At this time, we cannot accept feeds for nation-wide or location-agnostic daily deal sites. Please ensure that your feed or API returns non-encoded, non-appended individual deal URLs identical to those we would find on your site.

  Your feed must contain the following:

  Deal Title

  Image URL

  Business Name

  Business Phone

  Deal Price

  Deal Value

  Sale Count

  Sold Out (if applicable)

  End Date

  To submit your feed, please email us at content@yipit.com or complete the form below. We strongly recommend that you provide us a feed of your deals if you are publishing deals in multiple cities or at multiple times during the day.

• Why Do I Need a Bypass Parameter?

  Yipit will not list daily deals with a signup wall or deals that require our users to enter an email address in order to view deal details. Our users are accustomed to viewing a deal with the intention to purchase, and therefore a signup wall causes a steep drop in conversion.

  We kindly request you provide a bypass parameter that we can append to an individual deal URL. A bypass parameter is a unique parameter that can be appended to an individual deal URL in order to allow a user to view an individual deal detail page. • My Deal is Listed Incorrectly

  We’d be happy to correct any error that you catch about your deals or deal listings. Please contact us at content@yipit.com and we’ll be in touch immediately.

• I Can't Find My Deal

  If you are having trouble finding your deal on our website, please follow our step-by-step guide

  Login to Yipit

  Navigate to the correct city using our city menu in the upper right corner of our site.

  Navigate to the list of sources on the left-hand white panel of Yipit. Please note that the “Sources” list is dynamic and only lists sources with one or more deals on Yipit.

  Click on the number of deals listed next to your source.

  If you do not see any deals, or the number is zero, please ensure that your offers meets our daily deal criteria and content standards.

• Why Didn't You List My Deal?

  Yipit’s content team reviews, adds, and updates deals from 2193 sources every day to ensuring we have the most comprehensive list of daily deals on the web. We are still a growing company that is constantly improving and expanding its processes, and occasionally make mistakes. If you believe we missed your deal, please follow these steps to help us determine what went wrong

  First, locate your deal using step-by-step guide.

  Secondly, check our to see if your offer meets our Content Criteria and Standards.

  If you are listing daily deals in multiple cities, our content team will be able to add your deals with speed and accuracy if we can add your Feed or API, as it helps our content team with speed and accuracy.

• What Deals Does Yipit Aggregate?

  While there are a variety of offers on the internet, Yipit only aggregates deals that meet the following criteria:

  The deal detail page is available for all to see (email is not required to view a deal).

  The deal is within the limits of an active Yipit metropolitan area (city deal) or available to purchase online nationwide (nation deal).

  The deal is only available for a limited amount of time (fewer than 10 days).

  The deals requires upfront purchase to redeem the discount.

  The deal has not been listed within the past month or had its end date repeatedly extended.

• Content Standards

  Yipit’s content team maintains the sole and exclusive right to list deals within Yipit’s website, data product, API, and any other products.

  Deal Exclusivity:

  Yipit will not list daily deals with a signup wall or deals that require our users to enter an email address in order to view deal details. We kindly request you provide a bypass parameter that we can append to an individual deal URL.

  Deal Quality:

  Yipit is committed to representing high-quality, high-value daily deals from reputable publishers and their merchants. Our content team reserves the right to reject daily deals due to poor customer service, value, discount, or quality on behalf of deals, merchants, or publishers.

  Deal Integrity:

  Yipit is committed to listing all the best daily deals on the web. Daily deals are limited in quantity and time available, and thereby differ from vouchers, coupons, discounts, and other promotions. Our content team reserves the right to reject content that doesn't meet its criteria for a daily deal, including deals that are repeatedly extended, perpetually available, or often repeated.

  Deal Location/Availability:

  Yipit currently lists deals in over 100 metropolitan areas. While we do our best to list all deals in each city, our content team reserves the right to reject deals deemed to be outside the boundaries of a metropolitan area, or inapplicable to all users within that metropolitan area.

  Deal Content:

  Yipit is legally prohibited from listing daily deals for adult activities, gambling, cigarettes, and/or real estate promotions.

  Deal Scheduling:

  Yipit’s content team scours the web every morning to grab the best daily deals for our users. Accordingly, daily deals published after midnight in the local time of the deal city be added to Yipit until the following business day. To ensure that your deals are listed in a timely manner, it’s best to provide us with a feed (RSS, XML, or JSON) of your deals.

  Deal Tagging:

  Yipit’s content team uses tags to help users find deals that suit their individual preferences. Tags reflect the content of the actual deal, not of the business, service, or product itself. Special Interest tags (Kids, Baby, College, Senior, Bridal, Gay, Jewish, Pets, etc) are designed best serve their interest groups, and therefore used singularly. We believe that a childless yoga enthusiast should not receive a deal on children’s yoga classes simply because the deal was tagged “yoga” (we would tag that only as a kids’ deal). Our tags are a work in progress and constantly reviewed and updated to reflect user behavior.

  Deal Scarcity:

  Our users expect Yipit to keep them alerted of timely offers that are relevant to them, therefore we do not include ‘evergreen’ or perpetual deals. There are many good discounts that are available all the time, however, our service is exclusively focused on the ones that users don’t want to miss.

  Quantity of Simultaneous Offers:

  As the number of concurrent Daily Deals per source increases, the quality of any individual offer is put into question. Sources listing too many deals simultaneously may not be included.

  Other:

  We do our best to add each and every daily deal to Yipit. We are a young company, however, that is constantly improving and refining and improving its processes.
